community arts center through local fundraising efforts. The completed

Ipswich Public Library
A brick lined sloped walkway blends seamlessly into the entry yard
providing handicap accessibility without compromising the historic
character of this stately 18th century building. Within the center
of the curved walkway is a brick paved seating area. This project
received special recognition from the Ipswich Historical Commission.

Adaptive reuse of this 18th century former shoe mill building was
done to preserve the building’s character. Work included masonry restoration,
period style window replacement, along with a green roof.
